[Update] February 6, 2015

When I first made this video. I had recently bought a new DESKTOP PC with Windows 8.
Since then, I have been doing personal tests and research on what was causing the dreadful

“your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart we’re just collecting some error info and then we’ll restart for you” error.

Based on my tests on 3 personal LAPTOPS and research, there seems to be a direct correlation between having AVG Anti-Virus installed and the frequency of this error.

However, once I switched to AVAST Anti-Virus I haven’t had any problems on my new laptop.

Where all the methods fail is that NO ONE starts at the beginning. The problem is at the loop. Step 1: Switch on your computer / Step 2: Tried booting in safe mode (Lenovo does not allow the F8 button or any other button for the matter of fact to log into safe mode. So now what do I do…Frustrated! (tried so many methods but still sitting with the same problem). Eventually I pressed the F12 which brings me to the Lenovo boot menu…but still from here there is no option to FIX the loop problem?

  10. Thank you so much! This worked for me, and I'll see if it'll last a week(hopefully). Tried so many complicated things on my laptop and nothing worked except this.
